Save the Date for Chicago Fashion Week this October

With so many designer boutiques and world-class fashion houses making their home in the Oak Street District, we’re always excited when for fall when Chicago Fashion Week premiers the top designer’s new collections for the coming seasons. This year, we’ll be able to see all the exciting designs from October 10 through 17, 2021.

The excitement starts even earlier, with the Designer Reveal happening on October 2, 2021. There’s no doubt that times have been challenging lately. Due to COVID-19 health restrictions, there hasn’t been a full-scale Chicago Fashion Week since the fall of 2019. But this year, it’s back in full force, so you’ll be able to attend all the exciting events that let you get an exclusive peek at this season’s top designer creations. This year’s theme is “Health is Wealth” – and we can wait to see all the exciting new designs.

The week kicks off on October 10 with the Bridal Show, featuring some of the most unique and exquisite bridal gowns from top designers. If you’re planning a wedding later this year or in 2022, you won’t want to miss this exciting event.

Next up on October 12 is the Next Gen Show, where recent graduates from the world’s top design schools will show off their new designs for the coming season. It’s a great place to find one-of-a-kind, unique creations from up-and-coming designers.

On October 13, you’ll enjoy the Chicago Fashion Week’s Eco-Friendly show, featuring designs created from sustainable, eco-friendly materials from sources that support social justice and ecological integrity. Going green has never been so luxuriously beautiful.

Next up is an exciting show on October 14. The Chicago Fashion Week Trans Fashion show features transgender and gender-nonconforming models to celebrate the beauty of acceptance and social integration.
